Wall Hanging by Noel Dyrenforth

A finished wall-hanging. Despite the all-over crackle which Noel gave to the waxed areas before the final dye, most of the fine lines drawn with the tjanting have stayed sharp because beeswax was used for these details. A mixture of beeswax and paraffin wax was used for the rest of the work, and this produces a greater crackle effect.
